Candy Lo unhappy at Sony?

This article was written as though to say that Candy Lo's unhappy at Sony because Sony was not promoting her and her "enemy" Denise Ho is now a lot better than her.

I thought both Denise and Candy are good friends?

Both are similar in their "man-like" rocker look and they would probably be fighting for the same market. But, honestly, I think Ah C can sing much better than Candy. :)

I've always liked Candy too
(I think it's this rock style that attracts my attention.)
But if you compare Hocc and Candy....
Hocc can definately sing a lot better than Candy....especially live!
But I still like Candy' music too...
Just not the same way that I LOVE hocc!! haha

i was quite unhappy when i saw this article at candy's forum. the person who wrote this article obviously compared candy to hocc so as to sensationalize the issue. ah c is in the limelight right now & she deserves all of it, but it doesn't mean candy is "far behind" hocc. i love both of them as much but i can't stand the way the reporter undermined candy.

anyway hocc & candy are such gd friends. im sure they'll be happy for each other's success. the reporter makes it sound like there's bad blood & stuff. *scowls*

i too think that hocc's a better live singer than candy lah. hahah. though that does not mean candy's bad at all, just that her live can get abit.. off. haha. the point is, though they might seem to be fighting for the "same market", i believe that the market is big enough (& hopefully appreciative enough) to contain both of them. hocc & candy are both tough, talented, beautiful artistes who should & must stay WAY ABOVE ABOVE EVERYONE ELSE!

Such reports can just be seen and be passed off....

Comparisions between the 2.... not fair in my opinion.....coz hocc is hocc, candy is candy, they are not the same.

And candy's not such a person that the papers made out to be such a petty and jealous person....

vocals wise, all i can say is each singer is individual in their own performance and vocal deliverings. There will be audiences who like or may not like them. So why compare in the end?

The media always like to make comparisons. I guess the artists are used to it by now and i don't think this will affect their friendship.

Hocc is no doubt the better singer but Candy has her own style and makes good music too. I don't see why they can't exist together in the music industry. As if there is only one singer permitted in each genre!!!

Candy told us in Mar 2003 that she was planning to release a Mandarin album in August that year. But it never materialised at all. Maybe her r/s with Sony just went downhill from there? Hope to hear her new album soon.
