Denise Ho - Simplicity is Bliss
There is a big difference between the Denise Ho now and before - new record company and new artiste management company. These has unconsciously brought her to another level, whether it is her looks or her being more mature now. Beaded clothes and high-heeled shoes have become her working partners. Denise admits that she has subconsciously fell in love with this type of dressing. She even feels that her dressing in the past was too simple. She has finally understood that for certain events, there is a need to wear glamorous clothes. She has not only changed her image, but also her character.
Apart from work, Denise Ho is a very homely person. What she loves most is to spend time with her beloved cats. "Normally in the entertainment circle, my work is already so exciting and colorful, so I'd rather spend some quiet time and lead a simple life outside work. Whenever I find the time, I will do some household chores and also read some books that I have bought quite a long time back, enjoying my personal space.
Online Auctions
Denise Ho likes to surf the net. She visits online auction websites daily. Since she was young, she likes to collect toys. But at that time, she was still little and didn't have much savings, so she could only admire them but not possess them. Hence she is now able to buy the toys she wanted before. "I really like to buy the baby dolls and cars. Recently I have also found that alot of Lego toys are quite cute. Most of these toys are American and English editions, so they are pretty expensive. There are also toys from the 70s. Although they are rather expensive, but I will also bid for them." Most people will place their collections in a display cabinet, but Denise Ho on the other hand doesn't have this chance. This is because of her three cats who usually walk all over, so things that have been arranged nicely are usually pushed over by them onto the floor, leading to Denise's heartache. So she can only place them into a paper box and take them out to admire when she's free.
Denise Ho also likes to barbeque outdoors with friends as she likes being in touch with nature . Whenever she goes outdoors, she has a feeling of freedom and its able to unwind stress. Besides bbq, she also likes to fly kites. If there's time, she hopes that at the next gathering with her fans, they would be able to bbq and fly kites, killing two birds with one stone.
Cooking Expert
Denise Ho feels she has the talent in cooking. Whenever she's free, she would invite some friends over to her place. "A simple four dish with a soup shouldn't be a problem to me. Friends who have tried her dishes like millet chicken, pork, steamed fish, steamed egg have highly praised her. I also feel that I'm pretty good! My best dish is spaghetti!"
Everytime she cooks, she will wash as she cooks, so that after eating till she's full, she wouldn't have a whole pile of dishes to do.
