Do i need to use electric guitar to use this GuitarPro? im thinking of getting acoustic Yamaha.

the chords and stuff work the same in general for both electric and acoustic, so i think u can still make use of the chords there.

then again i can't get my Guitarpro to work. Littlefish sent it to me but seems like my pc a bit erratic and certain things just don't seem to work. So I can't say for sure until I've solved the problem.

Unfortunately littlefish is away and may not be able to access Internet frequently. Meanwhile I will try to fix my pc...

hey...I just have a one silly question...
What is GUITARPRO? a software? use for what purpose??
since i saw a lot of files were writen in guitarpro...after downloading and opening the file...it said I couldn't open them...

guitarpro is a program (a software, yes) and it allows one write the chords and melody for a song. When you open a guitarpro file, you'll see the guitar counterpart of piano scores. You can also add percussion and bass to the piece.

you'll need to download the software in order to open guitarpro files (.gtp format). try the link irishblue provided to download a trial version if you wanna try it out.
